This will be necessary in Rome for the visit to the Vatican Museums, In Florence for the Uffizi, In Milan for Leonardo’ Last Supper, in Venice for St Mark’s Basilica. The earlier you let us know, the better!
We advise to spend at least 3 or 4 nights in each city, and to choose a hotel or apartment in a central location; that will help you to make the best out of your time. Best seasons to explore the big Italian art cities for the first time are certainly Spring and Fall, while if you come in the middle of the Summer we advise to spend more time in smaller towns and to dedicate time to our beaches, mountains and countryside. In Winter you will enjoy the Christmas atmosphere and the Carnivals in February.
